Some targets of certain groups that uphold the current thought system make themselves known. Others are selected despite their unknown status. Nonetheless, the basic set of ancient techniques of sabotaging an individual remain the same.
If you openly display dissent, which is merely the act of thinking differently, and expressing that thought, you line yourself up for attention from a number of possible groups which have long permeated society, quietening the mad, lone individuals who have already lost so much self-identity by means of isolation.
If you think differently enough, you will know what isolation means. You can be of an isolated mind around others.
