Only One (The Individual) Receives the Prize
Corinthians 9:24 KJV
Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize?
Soren Kierkegaard - The Crowd is Untruth! That is to say, everyone can be that one, with God's help - but only one receives the prize;
Only those who have broken through isolation, boredom, and solitary will find the door.
As we live our lives, we are subjected to the actions, dialogue, and intentions of those who surround us. At some point in our history, have and have-not, like and dislike, love and hate were created. This could have been like/dislike, love/hate, or any other symptom of dualism. The problem with dualism is this. Once you have decided where you stand on something, like and dislike for example, you have to decide where the slider goes between like and dislike or love/hate and so on.
This slider is variable depending on who you spend time with, talk to, belong to, how much you pay, and so on. The so-called moral basis is totally flexible and therefore cannot be seen as a valid source of steady behavior.
So how do you break free from allowing others to determine your destiny, mind, and lifestyle?
You stay away from them, their sources of knowledge, their entertainment, their things, lifestyle, family, and so on, and you'll purge the knowledge you currently live by. As your habit of grasping at knowledge to deal with life recedes, you stop looking at the past ending suffering based on that, and you stop using it to alter your future, ending suffering based on future fears.
Only one wins the prize means you reach it through isolation.
